A relaxed and friendly, informative course taught by Amelie, one of our wonderful FEDANT accredited Birth & Parent Coaches. You'll get all the latest stats based research, plenty of parenting insights and life hacks presented and discussed with you in an honest and unbiased forum. To mix it up we keep it interactive (note no cringe inducing role play) and throw in a good dose of humour! Not to mention a constant supply of delicious refreshments and an array of socials with your newly made gang of friends. You will have FUN, we promise. Day 1 10am - 5pm (break for lunch and plenty of other rest breaks too!) Physical & mental Wellbeing in Late Pregnancy, The Stages of Labour, and At Home Coping Mechanisms The Second and Third Stages of Labour, Pain Management, Interventions, Birth Rights, Planning & Advocating for your choices Caesarean Birth, Bringing Baby Home, Mothering the Mother, Postnatal Body & Mind, Formulating Support Networks Day 2 10am - 3pm 10am - 12 Newborn Care, Feeding, Sleeping and Baby Wearing 12- 2.30pm Mummas Only - Before Noon Tea Postpartum Planning, Affirmations & Identity/Relationships To be arranged: Partners only Partner's Role in Birth & The Postpartum Period
