A weighted baby is a great way to practice caring for a baby with your clients. Most will have never held a newborn before, so having a weighted baby gives a real sense of how to support their head, how to change and how to bathe a baby. Giving your clients a baby to 'look after' for a whole session is a lovely practical exercise - and heart-warming to witness.
